Larger than a shepherd's hut, you will find all the warmth, comfort, solace and love you need for a magical break in deepest darkest Devon.

Being 'Rural Chic' means you get lots of high quality linens and stuff like 'pillow acorns'
(you'll have to stay to find out what those are!)

It is possible to cook a roast in the little kitchen. There is everything you need including a 'Hotel Chocolat Velvetier'

Or you could just go to the pub.....

Most of the fixtures, fittings & furniture are handcrafted by Siobhán, using reclaimed wood.

The hut takes its inspiration from Japanese & Scandi design-a celebration of the imperfect.
Its a small but ergonomically designed shower room, with a very unique set up and quirky use of materials.

The handcrafted Japanese Onsen is big enough to float in. Heated by the 'Big Bertha' woodburner to about 38/39 degrees you'll find its a very different experience to your average hot tub.

With a bottle of fizz, a donkey nay, some owl - offs (they are quite feisty here) and the quietness of the rural valley, you will quickly forget your worries and believe in the simple here and now.....ah...bliss!

If that's not enough, take advantage of the outside spaces, a covered Chillout Area with honesty bar, large decking sun terrace with room for sunbeds, cultivated garden, hammock & BBQ/chiminea area.

Oh and superb views over the valley to Yes Tor-the second highest point in Dartmoor.

Top Tip

Siobhan goes out of her way to create the 'rural chic' experience they have become known for and if there is enough notice she can also create a keepsake or extra touch to help make the stay even more memorable.
