Known to have been an inn during the 17th Century, it was originally a Devon Long house, parts of which are medieval. Important persons hung their banners or standards outside the inns where they took temporary lodgings - the White Hart sign, with a collar of gold, became a favourite badge of King Richard II.
The White Hart, Bridestowe is run by Michael and Sarah and they look forward to welcoming you to the village pub.

We are passionate about the food that we serve. We are proud that all our meat, fish and dairy products are locally sourced and all our meals are prepared and cooked on site.
We have fresh fish on the menu with new produce coming into the kitchen every Friday.
