Just a short distance from Yelverton and within easy access of Plymouth and Tavistock the Inn nestling between the church and the stream is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the charm of this historical building. Our well stocked Bar, excellent food and convivial atmosphere make us an excellent choice for locals and visitors alike.

The Drake Manor offers a warm welcome and a fine selection of locally sourced home cooked food and a good range of ales, ciders and wines in the well stocked bar. Originally built in the 12th century and later rebuilt in the 16th Century it was part of Sir Francis Drakes estate. The pub is full of character with ancient beams and gleaming horse brasses. Cosy wood burning stoves and a sheltered garden.

Dogs are welcome in the main bar & the garden, you can also treat them to our special dog ice cream. We were also runners-up in the DogBuddy Dog-friendly Pubs Awards.

Dave is our head chef and shares our passion for food. He is fully committed to providing interesting locally sourced seasonal dishes of the highest standard. Our menu which is updated regularly is available every day for lunch and dinner. On Sunday Lunchtimes we also offer a varied menu which includes a traditional Sunday roast using locally sourced meat. The pork is usually from our own pigs, reared on site. Food is served in all areas including the garden.
