Our bar is set in the oldest part of our thirteenth century thatched inn but there is nothing dated about the drinks that we serve. Our team, headed up by our Bar Manager, are always keen to offer interesting and new drinks to go alongside the firm local favorites. Every week we have a guest ale and our Gin list is comprised solely of West Country Gins. We have a select wine list comprised by local wine merchant, Charles Steevensons and many of our mixers and bottles are coming solely from Devon.* Almost every customer who stops at our idyllic country Inn says the same words to us when they leave"I drive past here all the time and I never knew that this was here" Hard to believe right...but its true! We may have one of the most photographed public houses in the National Park but our pub garden is something of a secret in these parts. At almost 200 foot and with its own babbling brook and moorland views we think the more people should be in the know. In 2019 we added to our gardens charm by adding an outside bar area. Not something we have fully utilised yet but something we have big plans for. Who knows maybe our own Bearfest beer festival.
