Yar Tor Apartment is situated within the grounds of Badgers Holt in beautiful Dartmeet, just a stones throw from the river Dart. This is a perfect spot for walking & exploring Dartmoor.

We have resident Peacocks, goats, rabbits and just outside the gate you can often find Dartmoor ponies aplenty. Next door is a great little Tea Rooms offering breakfasts, light lunches and Devon Cream Teas.

The space
We are right in the heart of Dartmoor next to the river dart. Our location is perfect for people wanting to explore Dartmoor by car, foot , cycle or canoe!
We are very remote out here and of an evening it is pitch dark -perfect for star gazing.

Guest access
Guests will have access to Badgers Holt grounds and gardens - with gate out to the open Moorland with walks along the beautiful river dart and up to Par and Sharp Tor.

The apartment is solely for guests use - each apartment has its own lockable door and are fully self-contained. A fire pit is available for use should you require it please just ask us.
