WE LOVE BEING GREEN

We take great pride in being as green as we can. We have reduced our carbon footprint by over 80% since 2006. We produce our heat and power from renewable sources and use water from the river for our hydro-electric turbine to generate power. Our Biomass Boiler and District Heating Scheme replaced oil/LPG boilers. We supply amenity blocks with green electricity and we recycle cardboard, plastic and glass as well as composting food waste. Our Nature Quest gives kids a chance to learn about being environmentally friendly too. Explore the Park and learn about the importance of being green!
