This fabulous annex, attached to the owner’s house, is situated in the pretty village of Horrabridge, which is on the Western fringe of Dartmoor National Park.Light and airy with a high vaulted ceiling, perfect for couples.A pretty bedroom off the open-plan living room is furnished with a quality king-size bed, with a useful en-suite WC as well as a separate bathroom.To the rear guests have their own garden area, fenced for privacy and paved and furnished with garden chairs and table for alfresco meals.There is also secure storage for bikes.Horrabridge is a super base for an active holiday in Devon.On a bus route for those who would prefer to park up and leave the car behind, the village has a good pub, a village store, bakers and takeaway, all within walking distance of the property.The market town of Tavistock is just 5 miles away, where visitors can enjoy the famous Pannier Market and where there are a number of supermarkets, and a great selection of independent shops and restaurants.For trips out Buckland Abbey, The Garden House, Castle Drogo are all close by.Those seeking to explore on foot or by bicycle, Drakes Trail runs immediately behind the property.If exploring rolling green pastures, hiking through the picturesque Walkham valley, cycling through moorland villages or scaling the Dartmoor Tors is your idea of heaven, then Fairmead is the holiday property for you. A delightful award-winning market town, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on the River Tavy, nestling in the south-west slopes of Dartmoor. Tavistock has an indoor pannier market, a diverse range of independent shops, an excellent choice of pubs, bistros, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema, as well as a leisure pool. This is the perfect destination for country lovers who enjoy the convenience of an interesting town on the doorstep.
