Located between the small market towns of Tavistock and Okehampton on the A386, Bearslake Inn is an ideal base from which to explore the delights of the local Moors and Tors of the National Park. They have six spacious en-suite letting rooms (four of which are dog friendly) and plenty of parking. Just two miles south of the A30 and the border between Devon and Cornwall, it is easy to reach and yet is set amidst glorious remote walking country. The magnificent Sourton Tor, Corn Ridge and Great Links Tor are all just a walk away with the Granite Way cycle path running directly behind the pub. Their chef’s specialise in local produce and lucky for them the West Country is blessed with wonderful supplies of meat, fish, vegetables as well as a host of small artisan producers of cheese, ice cream and smoked products. Where and whenever possible they always try to source these direct from the farmer, fisherman or grower. They pride themselves on being moor than just a pretty pub and their Dartmoor inspired rooms give you the perfect base from which to explore all that Bearslake Inn and their picturesque surroundings have to offer.

At the Inn they have six, large, individually designed rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Every room contains a comfortable King size bed with three of our six rooms are family rooms with additional beds suitable for larger parties & families. They also have four, fully dog-friendly rooms with direct access to their acre pub garden and as a team they always delight in making four legged companions feel as equally pampered as their owners during their stay. Also keep your eyes peeled for Poppy the pub dog, a 15 year old Westie!

So let their team take you on a Dartmoor inspired journey and give yourself over to a day(or moor) of foodie pampering. Their chefs work closely with the seasons and local producers to capture a true taste of Devon in theirclassic pub menus. If your love your food, like they do, they are sure they have the right package for you.
