This is one of a group of four beautifully spacious barn conversions resting on the fringes of the lovely North Tawton in Devon. These cottages are graced with warming, characterful features to provide the perfect base for a week of walking, cycling or simply sitting back and relaxing amongst the company of your loved ones. The living areas are roomy and lovingly decorated with cosy seating and TVs to sit and watch at the end of a long day. Rustle up your delicious, hearty meals in the well-appointed kitchens, three of the four cottages boast wonderful range cookers to add real character. The bedrooms in each cottage are finished to an exquisite standard, many with pristine en-suite facilities, offering a comforting place to catch your well-earned rest. Warden Farm showcases the most astonishing views, with the lack of light pollution in the area making star-gazing a fascinating pastime. There are five acres of private meadows surrounding the cottages, where guests can walk their dogs, sit and relax, or watch the abundance of wildlife around the natural ponds; from roe and deer to owls and buzzards. The Taw Valley provides lovely walks along the river banks as well as the Tarka Trail, available to walk or cycle at your leisure whist admiring the divine setting. In Devon, you can always be assured of plenty of local shops, traditional pubs and quaint villages waiting to be discovered. The more adventurous may wish to tackle the rugged and dramatic Dartmoor Tors. The North Devon coastline is renowned for its long, sandy beaches, ideal for safe bathing and surfing, whilst the historic cathedral city of Exeter is just a short drive away with its cobbled streets, array of architecture, and interesting quayside area with cafés and antique shops. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, with many pretty little villages dotted throughout the area, and several excellent coarse fishing lakes and rivers, quality golf courses, and a number of National Trust properties within easy reach. There are few better spots from which to experience the joys of beautiful Devon.
